The Live Oak High unofficial rally cry is "Bust A Nut", at least it was when I was in HS. Pretty hard to take a team seriously.

In the 80's Live Oak was legit!!! I think I went to a Live Oak vs. Bellarmine game...my first ever high school football game...when I was under 10 years old. Live Oak Acorns vs. the Bellarmine Bells (another unique name)

random ones- Laurel Hill Hoboes You didn't list where they are. It's Laurel Hill, FL, Home of the Hoboes. www.okaloosa.k12.fl.us/laurel/Laurel Hill is on the "beach route" from Birmingham, Alabama...pass through there several times a year. Just barely a wide spot in the road south of Florala. Highland Home is another town on the "beach route"...called the "Flying Squadren"...they're close to Eglin AFB. Sydney Lanier HS, Montgomery, AL. "The Poets". They have a pretty rich football tradition too. Famous Alum include Bart Starr, and Richmond Flowers, as well as Reggie Barlow (TB Bucs), Jeno James (Auburn/Carolina Panthers), and Tavraris Jackson (QB, Minn. Vikings) I'm sure it's on that SI list, but gotta love the UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs, and the Delaware Blue Hens.
