You have all seen or heard of the HBO Hard Knocks series, where The TV cameras have a free run of different NFL teams training camps...and over the last 6 years, these have become the main NFL interest for the month of July and August, before the real action starts.
Well the University of Portsmouth Destroyers, from www.buafl.net (UK Europe), were lucky enough to have opportunity to show their 'behind closed doors pre-season training camp' earlier this season.
The Destroyers hold camp at a Private Boarding school in Hampshire every October, thanks to the hard work and co-operation from School Principal Hector (Big Mac) MacDonald, and Destroyers Defensive Co-ordinator James Irving.
This is the second year of we have done such a camp and this time we opened the doors to a Film Crew also... and with full access we have been able to get great look at the how we prepared to become National Champions!
We would like to offer special thanks to the following people that without their hard work over the last 7 months this would have not been possible.
Film Crew - Mike Peel, Elliot Taylor, James Williams Editor - Chris Richards Producer - Amy Shearlaw (Guys thank you very much!!)
