So this was a first for me. Supposed to travel a couple hours for a game today, we had a team dinner last night. Literally everyone that ate the meal with about 5 exceptions had terrible food poisoning all last night and all day today. The whole team. Needless to say 50 guys on a bus with 1 toilet wasn't an option. White game pants probably weren't either haha. Anyway the game got cancelled, first time I've ever experienced something like this.

We had a game cancelled in college due to a campus-wide outbreak of norovirus. Our whole campus got shut down for like five days with no school-related activities. Lots of people sick in a variety of ways.
They ended up making it up the first week of playoffs as neither team was in playoff contention.

Freshman year at Juco, 15 kids got sick from the pre-game meal the cafeteria served. There was a crowd of players at the port-o-potties by the 2nd quarter, players were just rotating in and out of the johns. It was a pretty ugly scene.

Good thing y'all didn't play. Sounds like you would have had a hard time...stopping the runs.

I do work for a league in China, and recently 2 games had to be cancelled because the visiting teams didn't feel safe traveling to Hong Kong due to ahem, recent events there.
