I am looking for ways to get all of my assistants involved in the gameplanning process. How and what do you guys do on the weekend so that everyone has some input?
Thanks,

I'd assume the HC either lets the OC / DC take full reigns or he at least invites the staff to watch film.
Bottom line, have the staff meet Sat / Sun before the game to discuss the plan the "plan" is; 1) WHO the opponent is (what they do best, their players, etc) 2) WHO we have to play them with (are key personnel matchups, depth, etc) 3) HOW we are going to play this team with what is already in our arsenal (playbook) 4) WHAT we need to do differently ( adjustments, new schemes, etc) 5) WHEN are we going to get it in ? (now it comes down to organizing the week's worth of practices to ensure you can TEACH the adjustments, new plays, home run plays, personnel)
At this meeting the facilitator should encourage a DISCUSSION....let everyone speak their mind (even if they are clueless) ....
