The end of an era. I wonder if they'll keep running option? I'm sure they will if they fill the position from within. (which I see happening)
I admire DeBerry. He did so much with not as much talent. I remember a few years ago (2002?) They were even ranked.

Hopefully they hire the OC so the flexbone can stay around.

would hate to see em go to some other kind of offense
i like seeing variations in things instead of seeing people run the same crap over and over again

If they don't keep running option, theyre crazy. look what's happened to Navy and Army when one improved their option and one dropped it.

I loved his article in the "football coaching bible"......I don't know if they'll keep the flexbone. With Carney's ability to throw and run, I beat some Urban Meyer disciple will come in. On the other hand, a guy like that is probably looking to move up, and I imagine the Flacons want a lifer (like DeBerry).

I heard Coach DeBerry retires because he wouldn't fire his assistant coaches. However, I could be wrong.

Who is the OC?? Peterson?? Is Bell still the DC? I think either one of them would be great but sometimes the administration want to clean house.
