We are looking at going to the Jet Offense next year (or something like it). I've got Coach Cobleigh's DVD set, but would like to see the rest of the package. Does anyone have it or run something similar? Also, is there a difference between the Fly Offense and the Jet Offense? Much of what I've seen looks very similar. I could use some help if anyone has the time. Thanks.

The Speckman DVD is outstanding! Well worth the price. We run a one back Fly offense if you are interested.

The Speckman stuff is great. Ran it for a year at one school, moved to another and have developed it into a multiple I and shotgun offense. Great stuff out of the gun, esp. if you have a qb that can run.
I believe, if your going to run that type of offense, you have to be married to it. You can't be too hodge-podge and just do it as a package (if you want to be good at it).

We added some Fly into our I back attack this year with our JV kids to get the ball to our outstanding reciever - who is MINT in the open field.
I'd like to thank Coach fbdoc for his materials he sent!!!!
We lost our QB in game #2 to a broken collarbone, and we really didn't have a back-up at that level (it took us a month to pull a kid in from gym class, and team him).
We added the fly/jet just before playoffs. We drilled it for about 1hr in practice, getting down the footwork, exchanges, etc. We coupled it with Dive/Iso and it was a great combo for us.
We didn't have to be 'married' to it - we used it to augment our inside running game - and it opened it up HUGE for us - as the motion displaced the inside backers just enough for us to gain a seam on the dive/iso.
