I have a question, although it may seem crazy? Do any of you coaches out there encourage athletic tights worn by skill position players. I have been reading up on them and the advantages seem really good. I was considering ordering them for my back and receivers. Any comments or suggestions.

Don't waste your budget on them!!!
It is more marketing than anything when you look at the claims of injury prevention, muscle compression, temp regulation, ect. The research is not substantiated.

Our kids buy their own. We will pay for gloves but that is it. I had Nike come out last year and do the sparq testing an our kids got free compression shirts. Most of the time they buy thier own stuff.

Let me clarify the gloves. Lineman gloves with padding and LBer gloves with Padding (both safety issues). We also keep a box of gloves for bad weather games where guys can take a pair to use for the game. If they want their own gloves they have to buy them.
