Anyone know of any stats program that will keep stats over the long term, and maybe has useful search features or maybe tracks program records automatically?

I would suggest either Turbo Stats or Stat Man. I've used Turbo Stats for 20-plus years and while some changes in the updaed program are not my favorites it's good for tracking. I'd say Stat Man is the best that's now out there for tracking game stats although you need someone knowledgeable about football and statistics to do the play-by-play tracking.
